You know the feeling: outside it gets cooler, the days grow shorter, and all you want is a bowl of steaming soup and a quiet moment. That is exactly why we are opening Vork & Tas soon, on the Europalaan in Poperinge.
At Tas you will find our soup bar: every weekday, 3 homemade soups, always tomato soup with meatballs, always hot, and sandwiches, cold or warm, to eat in or take away. At Vork you sit down quietly for lunch, or for a pot of tea with something tasty alongside.
No fuss, no rush. Just honest food, made with care, in a place where you feel at home straight away.

How we work
Simple, made with care
Fresh
Every weekday, 3 homemade soups, always tomato soup with meatballs, always hot. And freshly filled sandwiches. What we serve, we prepare ourselves that same day.
Homemade
We cook our soups in our own kitchen, with time and care. The way you would make them at home.
With the season
Pumpkin and parsnip in autumn, something fresher in spring. We let the season cook with us.
Time for yourself
A warm bowl, a good coffee, a slice of cake. Nothing you have to do. Just enjoy.
